The Pixel is JavaScript that tracks visitor actions on your site — page views, add-to-cart, purchases. Conversion API is a more reliable server-side alternative that works even when browsers block tracking (Safari, iOS).

It depends on the industry. Facebook is better suited to B2C and SMB. For B2B with long sales cycles, LinkedIn Ads often performs better — though Meta retargeting of LinkedIn visitors is also possible.
